Structure Analysis by NMR Spectroscopy
A postdoctoral position is open in the Protein NMR Spectroscopy Laboratory of the Center for Advanced Biotechnology and Medicine (CABM) at Rutgers University. The successful candidate would be a Ph.D. graduate experienced in modern techniques of heteronuclear NMR spectroscopy and their applications in structural studies of proteins and / or nucleic acids. Some experience in protein expression and/or molecular biology is also required.
This NIH-funded research project involves structural studies of RNA-binding proteins and the analysis of protein - RNA complexes. Specific activities include production of isotope-enriched protein and RNA samples, collection and analysis of NMR data, and structure generation calculations.
