Postdoctoral Position in Heteronuclear NMR Methods Development
A postdoctoral position is open in the Protein NMR Spectroscopy Laboratory of the Center for Advanced Biotechnology and Medicine (CABM) at Rutgers University. The successful candidate would be a Ph.D. graduate experienced in the theory and practice of modern heteronuclear NMR spectroscopy, including expertise in product operator formalism and pulse sequence design.
This NIH-funded research project involves the development of improved methods of heteronuclear NMR which provide data structures that are amenable to automated analysis with advanced computer software. Numerous isotope-enriched protein samples are available for study, and instrumentation available includes fully equipped 500 and 600 MHz Varian NMR spectrometers.
